What is a good plot for a book?

I'm thirteen and i love to write, and i want to write a book, but i need a good plot, but i don't know, what i should write about, can someone help me please?

  1. If you want to write, you should come up with your own ideas. It's much more fun. You probably won't be able to finish a story if you just copy somebody else's creativity. Really, you won't be able to understand somebody else's characters and things as well as they would.

    I suggest just dabbling until you come up with an actual idea. You can use the site below to start writing random stories. They'll probably be c**p, and you probably won't be able to finish them, but that's all part of learning to write well. Just practice until you get an actual idea for a book.

  2. Just Kelsey-san said all that needs to be said. Writing is trial and error and you have to try and err for yourself. This means coming up with an idea for a plot line. THe best place to start is by looking at what kinds of books and plot lines you yourself enjoy and start from there.
