What is a good power wattage for a home theatre subwoofer?

I have a 50w Sony subwoofer. Is that too low? I am mostly going to be playing games and movies. No music.

  1. bass requires the most power(rms) and on  todays recordings 50watts will not simply do


  2. depends on how loud your going to play it but I would figure about 100rms
