Question:

What is a good privacy hedge for zone 6-7?

I want a good privacy hedge because I don't like being gawked at by neighbors every time I walk outside, and I am surrounded by them! I also want something safe because I have a young child, so nothing poisonous will work.

I am in hardiness zone 6-7. I want it to be at least 4 feet high or higher. Something that looks good with minimal pruning would be best!

Thanks!

  1. Laurel leaf willow is one plant that will give you a thick hedge, but is does require pruning, Privet and Honey suckle are to others, but they too require pruning.
