What is a good program to scan for spyware?

Question

my internets been acting up lately =(

i use spybot and avg free

is there any other program that may help?

i get the feeling that these 2 arent working too well

Try Superantispyware, available (naturally) from http://www.superantispyware.com.

Make sure you uninstall the Spybot S&D first. You should never have two similar programs on the same machine.

If you aren't happy with AVG, try Avast, which is also free and available from http://www.avast.com.

spyware doctor starter edition from the google pack is pretty good at getting rid of small things like adware and spyware browser cookies

and then i use avira antivirus for bigger problems and they work like a charm

AVG is awesome. i use it as well. However, i tend to use "Spyware Terminator" along side it. its pretty good to i must say.  Its easy to use and its free - no siging up or paying or anything.

Something that works well for me is Windows Defender. It's a free download from download.microsoft.com. It works great, just try it out. Hope this helps!
