What is a good putter for fast greens?

I really need a new putter, I have been using a starter set of clubs for the past 5 years and all of the clubs are excellent except for the putter. Obviously since the whole set was only 115 the putter isn't going to be great, I find that the ball tends to always bounce of of the club face instead of hugging the green and rolling smoothly. So does anyone recommend a putter that performs well on fast greens, and is from $100-$150.

All of these putters are good for fast greens. The lighter the putterhead the better for speed control. But heavier putters will put better roll on the ball because the mass of the head transfers more energy to the ball. That is the abridged version of a very long lesson in physics. So take a look at these putters. By the way, NEVER buy a puttter new. You can get used putters in new condition for half or less of their msrp.  That goes for anyone else out there in the market for a new putter.

if you go with oddysey then youre losing out. go with the Yes! Tracy putter. Yes! putters sport C-Grooves that keep the ball from hopping and give your putter a nice true roll. the tracy is only $150 dollars too. all putter critics agree that the Yes! putters are the best putters in golf

I think for fast greens you're going to want something with a lot of feel....anything in the Odyssey White Hot XG series should fit the bill as that's a very soft face & the pricing in this series is $120 ea for about 6 different choices. Good luck!

lighter weight putters are best for faster greens.  (The bounce off your clubface can easily be corrected by adjusting the loft of the putter)  an easy fix if you like the putter.
