What is a good quality kind of digital camera to buy?

im thinking of buying one but i dont really know which brand is good. i would thing sony would be good but im not really sure. pictures would also be appreciated :D

There are many good camera manufacturers some better than others. First consider if cost is a concern, This will limit the posibilities in choosing the type of camera within your budget. Once you have this narrowed down start to think of the types of functions the camera can perform. For example, for a better picture you may want a camera with a higher amount of pixils, 3.0 vs 6.1 and so on. If you are a novice photographer you may wish to purchase a used camera and experiment with the different functions such as lighting, flash, indoor, outdoor lighting, resolution, time and date stamps, etc. Once you see the results of your not so costly experiments you can then decide the best camera to suit your needs. Sony makes good cameras but I recommend going with someone that makes lenses, like Canon or Nikon.  Depending on what you need the camera for, there are a ton of different options for good prices!
