What is a good quality waterproof camera that is cheap, too?

I am looking for a waterproof/ shockproof camera. I want it to be under $200 at least, too. Any suggestions??

The Olympus 850 SW is a 10.1 MP camera that is shockproof, dustproof and water-proof (down to about 10 meters).  It has a 3x optical zoom.

It runs about $289 at present.  The waterproof camera eliminates the need to a waterproof housing that an ordinary camera would require, and that saves it from the distortion that those housings often bring with them (at least the inexpensive ones)

The Pentax W60 is an interesting waterproof camera but it may be bit above your budget.

The Olympus SW 790 is a good option, there is also the Olympus SW 850 that is waterproof, shockproof, freezeproof, and dust proof. Although neither of these are inexpensive the SW 790 is about $208 (Circuit City) and the SW 850 is about $299 (Circuit City) They are worth it though so if your willing to pay a little bit more than it will be worth it in the long run.. hope this helps =]

I am paddling with Pentax Optio "W" cameras: starting from the original WP, then, W10, and now  W30.

You can find the Pentax Optio W30 for a little bit more than $200, now, when a new model (W60) was introduced.

Olympus Stylus SW cameras offer similar features and image quality as Pentax Optio, but are somewhat more expensive. Pentax provides better video features and interval shooting (time lapse) mode.
