I am going to a debate between two candidates for my Missouri House of Representatives district in about two hours. I need several good questions to submit to the moderator. Please think of a few of your best questions and post them if you will. Thanks.

  1. You could ask them where they stand on State's Rights.  Do they think the Feds have overstepped they boundries and usurped State's Rights.

Or, how they feel about this:

  2. State legislatures have a lot of control over education standards and funding.  You could research education issues in your state.  Also, you could ask how they feel about No Child Left Behind (a federal law that places education mandates on schools).

Also, many states are trying to deal with illegal immigration on their own since the federal government will not take action one way or another.  You could ask what they think could be done on the state level to deal with the issue.
