she has been so much help! and so nice i want to give her something special that she will have forever.

what i was thinking was buying a picture frame, the one that is pretty big and you hang on the wall and fits a bunch of pictures, and putting some collage in it...

BUT i've already done something like that for her..

i want something that is really special and meaningful.

what did you get/ give/ make / etc??

  1. i don't know her taste but I went to a wedding were the maid of honor bent over for the bride and the bride got her a day at the spa because she needed much relaxing as well  it was nice and she also gave her a charm bracelet with trinkets that meant something to them it was really nice.

  2. My matron of honor is a hair stylist so i bought her a crystal embellished business card holder from things remembered and had her name engraved on the inside of it.  I used the business card stock and made her appointment cards to give to her clients.  She really loved it and it was something special that she could also use.  You could get her birthstone in a ring or earrings that she could wear whenever instead of just the one time or you could make her a scrapbook of your friendship instead of a collage.  A jewelry box with her name engraved would also be nice.  You know her best so I am sure whatever you decide she will love.  Good luck with your wedding and I hope this has helped.

  3. I don't think this is an answer you can get from anyone who doesn't know your friend. Choosing a gift requires that you take her personality (and your budget) into consideration. Choose something that will be long lasting - something she will have forever that will remind her of you every time she uses it or looks at it. A keepsake like a perosnlaized photo album or your collage are nice reminders of your history together as well as a hint that you will not leave your friendship nehind once you're married either. Hope this gets your creativity flowing. Good luck - you both sound like wonderful, caring friends.

  4. You can try something like this and have it personalized with something like "To a special friend".

  5. A nice piece of jewelry (NOT just for the wedding) is a really great keepsake for women.  My best friend gave me a beautiful watch that I wear everyday.

  6. I think jewelry is always best.

  7. My Maid of Honour is my sister, and I am hoping to buy her jewellery for the wedding, but something very nice that she can really keep for ever.

  8. Go to a place like "Things to Remember" and have her a picture frame engraved with (Thank you for being my maid of honor) or something like that... and put a picture in it with the two of you together at the wedding..you can give her the frame and when you get your pics back give her the picture...

or a really nice necklace...            HH

  9. get her something from Precious moments.

  10. My Maid Of Honor did SO MUCH work for my wedding, I wanted to give her something very special.

I got her a BEAUTIFUL necklace (not to be worn during the wedding). It had ber favorite stone (opal). It was expensive, but totally worth it, she was so floored. I also bought her an old fashion embroidered hanky, we both love those types of things and she totally loved it.
