I babysit from Saturday at 10 am until Sunday at 10 am, they sleep at my house, I pick them up and drive 1/2 hour each way. What rate is reasonable since they are family?

  1. I think $30 is a good amount.

  2. $100 for the day is reasonable since they are family.

  3. $60.... I say that because these they are close family. I know that it would be nice to get $100 or so, but I know that personally, I would not be able to afford that much money a month.

  4. 50$ because 8 and 9 year olds arnt like 2

  5. $80 and you supply the food. See it's the weekend and thats time and a half

  6. Call a local daycare center and see what they charge for a day, then add transportation and meals. That should give you a good idea of what is fair. Remember, most daycares are only opened 10-12 hrs per day and you're doing twice that.

  7. I usually charge $8 an hour for two kids.  That would be around $100 for 12 hours.  $100 is a good rate for family, because you have to include the hour drive (gas is expensive).
