  1. How many kids?  Time of day you would be sitting?  Duration of sitting sessions?  Access to anything you want in the fridge?

All factors involved when figuring what to charge.

  2. 5-8 Bucks An Hour

  3. I always got $10 an hour, and if they asked me to come over at the last minute or if they would only be 2-3 hrs instead of all night I got up to $20 an hour. It was never discussed though, everyone just always gave me $10 or more.

  4. I pay a 16 year old $8/hour before midnight and $12/hour after midnight - and she can order pizza for herself. I think that's reasonable. She watches our two kids who are 6 and 4.

  5. How old are you? It would depend on how old first.

If you are 10-18 i would say 5 an hour for the first kid and 2 dollars an hour more per kid after the first one

  6. $5.00/hour is what I pay. I have discussed it with many other moms. It is average.

  7. $10  an hour for a specified number of hours and time and a half if they are more than an hour late.

You could bargain to bring your price down for full access to fridge, phone and what ever other amenities they have.

  8. if ur a starter and u start with ur neighbors start with $5.00 a hour...i hope thats okay. my moms a cheapskate and im not that good at babysitting and im 12 and im babysitting for my brother, and i can't go above $1 a hour. lol if it were me who was deciding the rate id chose $3 a hour.

  9. depends how many kids if its a holiday how many hours go for 7.00 an hour thats about minuim wage

  10. $4 per hour per kid

  11. Start at around 8 an hour for people who you plan on having as regulars.  Some parents already have ideas in mind as to how much they want to pay as well, see what they want to offer before you tell them 8, they may offer more.  Also, the age of the children and what is expected of you will come into play.  Are they in bed when you get there?? Do you have to entertain them...etc.  Good Luck

  12. 3-4 dollars per hour is normal entry level for baby sitting.
