  1. a bottle of red, a bottle of white, fruit ice and sugar.....

  2. everything you need to know explained in this video http://www.garlicoon.com/video/video/lis...

  3. -2 bottles of red wine

    -250 mL orange juice

    -1L sprite (or something similar)

-1 cup sugar (you might want to use a bit less, I found it was pretty sweet, but if you want it sweet, use the whole cup)

-1 or 2 granny smith apples, peeled and cubed

-1 or 2 oranges, peeled and cubed

Once it's all mixed and stirred in a pitcher, stick it in the fridge for about 3 hours (minimum).  This step is crucial, it allows the flavours to mix and the fruit to soak up some of the wine.

  4. 1 bottle red wine

1 cup of cointreau or orange liqueur

    4 tablespoons of sugar

    1 apple, sliced

    1 orange, cut in wedges

    1 lemon, sliced

    soda water

Mix everything except the soda.  Chill for a few hours. Serve topped with soda water.

You can also do a white version. Replace red wine with white wine. Replace orange liqueur with apple liqueur.  Replace oranges with grapes

  5. I keep my sangria pretty simple.

    -bottle of Jadot Beaujolais Villages

    -1 orange, cut wedges

    -1 lemon, cut wedges

    -1 TBSP sugar

-shot of brandy (depending on how I feel)

pour wine into a pitcher.  squeeze the lemon and orange juices into the wine.  toss in the wedges.  mix in sugar and brandy.  Refrigerate over night.  Before you serve, you could add some ginger ale for a little fizz, I don't anymore as I just like the wine.

its a good base, get creative, toss in some fresh fruit, I used strawberries, watermelons, and peaches before, all good.

Just use a decent quality red.  Make sure its low in tannins and has good acidity.  Beaujolais is a good choice, as is dolcetto d'alba.

Or go the other way and use something like Carlo Rossi Paisano, cheap, but drinkable.  Add a couple of tablespoons of sugar, definitely add the brandy or rum, and another orange.

    Either way, have fun
