I don't want to spend over $5,000 for a car right now. And public transportation is hectic and expensive.

  1. When you buy a japanese car they are more reliable but the cost of one used is greater wich forces you to get a old crappy one....

I would recommend searching for a used chevrolet cavalier or chevrolet malibu.

For 5 thousand you will get a fairly new car that is good on gas.

use the site listed below and search in your zipcode

  2. Get a used  Toyota corolla or honda civic. They're great to start off. 5 of my friends work part time and attend college as well and all 5 have either one. Japanese cars are just fantastic when it comes to reliabilty. Used american cars are really not worth buying. They will come cheap but they'll end up making you spend more money in terms of break downs and repairs.
