  1. I put a hot pack on my head also sometimes i put something like bengay cause the icyhot feeling really makes my headache go away.hope it helps.

  2. for headaches...plain old tylenol is what i was told. although i never took anything. i am a freak when it comes to medication adn pregnancy but my doctor told me tylenol

  3. Caffeine helps headaches. While you're not supposed to have a lot of caffeine while pregnant, some is OK. Usually a cup of coffee along with two extra-strength Tylenol (the U.S. brand name for acetominophen, or Panadol) worked for me.

  4. When paracetemol doesn't work (and it doesn't for me when I'm pregnant either) sleep is about the only way I can get rid of a headache. Depending on your situation, try lying in a dark room for a while with your eyes closed.

I guess if you're at work that's going to be tough! Can you take a sickie for the rest of the day?

  5. Have you tried a cool facewasher on your forehead and resting in a dark room? Beyond that I'm not sure what else to suggest. The dr's will tell you that panadeine and panadeine forte are safe to take, I personally refused when they suggested it to me, but it is an option if you're willing to try it.

  6. Just Tylenol! Maybe a hot rag on your head that's about it!

  7. This may sound retarded, but Head On really does work, it relieves the stabbing pain and is quite soothing too. I'm sure you have heard the dumb commercials, Head On, apply directly to the forehead. I'm not kidding, it really does work and its safe to use during pregnancy because its not oral, it just goes right on your forehead!
