Question:

What is a good resource to find an apartment in Bangalore?

I am moving to Bangalore from the US to take a job with a newspaper. I have never been to India, and a friend of mine in Bangalore has suggested that I try to find an apartment in Benson Town, Cox Town, Fraser Town, or RT Nagar--I assume for their proximity to the newspaper's offices. I have been looking on Craigslist, but I haven't found much in those areas. Are there any good websites that Indians use for advertising and searching for available rentals? I'm hoping to spend less than 6000 Rs for a nice one-bedroom. And any additional advice for a newby expat would be much appreciated. Thanks!
