  1. I don't know exactly how much this might cost I see it around 80. Anyway I absolutely love gordon biersch. Great restaurant  on peachtree. Look it up its very good.

  2. For special occasions we like to go the a Japanese Steakhouse...they cook on a grill that your table sets around...they do little tricks with the knives and joke around with you and the food is DELISH.. my hubby and I get the feast for two which is around $49... and includes..an awesome salad, tasty soup (actually a broth), lobster tail, chicken, and steak...cut into bite sized pieces right in front of you, all served with fried rice (or white), grilled onions, zucchini, and bean sprouts..with a shot of plum wine and ice cream for dessert!  Make sure to ask for egg yolk sauce on the lobster...it is the BOMB!!  I found a place like this in Atlanta..the link is below..=)

  3. Consider RAY'S ON THE RIVER, it's on Peachtree Rd..  Really really good buffet.  Very nice restaurant with a nice view and good food too.  Most dads like "all you can eat" too!  (I've been there and the food is very good).  It's about 25.00 per person for brunch, but call and verify with the restaurant.

  4. Houston’s is a  much better steak house than Long Horn’s and if it’s just you two you could probably make it out there under $80.

  5. i would go to longhorns to but it does not matter were you take him because he will be happy any way but i would try to find a pasta bella a chillies and other places like that but a place i would want to go is the westen but i think that is on the other side of goegia but my dad had is 50th birthday there and it was alsume he really liked it and i have a heavy sweet tooth and the deserts are amazing

  6. Why don't you cook him something nice for dinner. Mayb go to some where like Harris Teeter (if yall have them) that has nice steaks and cook them along with a baked potatoe and salad or something and dessert to top it all off. You will spend maybe $60 max.

Somewhere like Long Horn will run you around a minimum of $50 if tall both eat steaks. Then twenty percent for tip will add an additionl $5 or more dollars. This leaces leave you with $25 for a taxi if you eat a cheaper steak.

  7. J. Alexander's is good.  There are a few locations in north Atlanta area:  near Perimeter Mall, in the Forum in Duluth (Peachtree Parkway).

  8. I live close to Atlanta also.  I don't know about steak houses, but I can tell you that my husband loves Pappasitos in Marrietta along with the Marrietta Diner.  I've also heard that Ted's Montana Grill in Kennesaw is pretty good.  It's owned by Ted Turner.

  9. Olive Garden is good, but Outback is your best choice for steak

  10. well i just love Don Pablos ! It is great if you are in the mood for mexican food. it is SOOO yummy. && the food comes out sizzling. if you are in the mood for something Seafood like go to Philips ! thats also yummy. for some yummy make your own burgers ! go to Fudruckers !  hope i helped !

  11. Red Lobster

  12. if i were you i would choose the Outback  steak house or olive gardens. My dad loves that place!

  13. Unless you cook for him everyday skip the rest.  Take the money and make a really nice dinner for him yourself.  Steak is good and not that difficult and with the money you could get a really really really good couple of steaks.. Get a bagged salad and add a few toppings, a nice crusty loaf of bread and some 2x baked potatoes (frozen woudl be okay with gooood brand).

Alternatively take him to a good one.. Ruth Chris is one that I liked but it hit a hundred with our bottle of wine.

here is link to restuarants on a site called living the good life. check the city then click on steakhouses

  14. Black Angus

    The Outback

Hometown Buffet- it's chap but dad's love 'all you can eat'

    Elephant Bar

    Olive Garden-my favorite
