Mostly 9 year olds like going to places where you can get toys. I meanthey mostly open up their toys first. They like also like places with playgrounds. Also the parents may be in a playground fast food place but then the kids will be off your hands so you can relax

My daughter is 5, I can take her any where. If they don't have kids meal at a certain restaurant, order an appetizer for his main dish.

I dont live in toronto but maybe a pizza place or a buffet or chilis or on the border. I would avoid fast food, thats not very fun.

do they have an "old spaghetti factory" there?

if so, you should go there. that place is amazing, it has great food, its gorgeous inside, chandaliers, nice furniture, and its massive.

also on both floors they have a small arcade for the kids to go to while they are waiting for their orders. its fantastic.

kids menus as well. even the kind they can color on! :]

My kids will eat any where they have chicken strips or hamburgers.  Do you have a Frudruckers?  Its a cool place for kids.
