haha, i'm a major fan of shoujo ("girly" manga). here are the ones i enjoyed:

Absolute Boyfriend: don't we all want a perfect, devoted, and super hot bf like Night? too bad he's a robot though. this manga is simply hilarious!

Full Moon wo Sagashite: Mitsuki, a young girl with throat cancer, wants to chase after her first love. she wants to become a singer to call her love, who moved far away, back to her. how can a girl with throat cancer become a singer? this manga is just bittersweet.

The Gentlemen's Alliance: Haine stops being a delinquent to chase after her first love- the super-wealthy student council president of the school! this is a romantic-comedy, and it's my favorite by far!

Ouran High School Host Club: what's your type of guy? Haruhi is forced to join the school host club to repay a debt, so she finds herself surrounded by six SUPER HOT guys.

Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne: Maron is a young girl with the fate of capturing demons to restore God's power. she falls in love with her next-door neighbour/classmate/rival, whom she thinks is a servant of the Devil. how can this work out?

D.N.Angel: a romance told from the guy's point of view. this manga is SO funny, and belongs to the magical-boy genre.
