What is a good running form in track and how can I improve mine?

For example in a 100m race I keep my head down for 50m and then I bring it up after, but then my back is straight wat do i do, in a 100m i run about a 12.5s and i'm in high school

  1. For one, dont keep you down so long, only for your first couple steps out of the blocks, and then gradually raise it until you're looking about 15-20 feet in front of you.

    For form, make your arms stay bent at the elbow at a 90deg angle and rotate at the shoulder. When your arm goes back keep you elbows in and then punch straight forward, not crossing you body in front. Then your knees must get good drive, firing up, keeping your toe flexed and and you heels under your butt.

    Once you get good knee drive and big controled arms, your body should do the rest. to build speed after this, you've just got to get your muscles moving faster through training.
