I'm fourteen, 5'8" and I have long legs.

My middle school track tryouts are tomorrow and I was wondering how far I should be able to jump.

Its middle school, so I'm guessing it cant be that far....

  1. If you have never jumped before a good attempt would be something over 12 feet. With training a good jumper should be getting close to 15 feet.

  2. Well I m a middle school track runner and our season just got over the average is about 10 -11 feet and one of our people could almost jump 14 feet which is lik e record breaking amazing i tell you but before you jump run full speed from the sand pit and count seven steps with your lead leg and that is the spot you jump from. Good LUck Tomorrow

  3. When I was 14 I was jumping 15-18 feet and that was a very good County standard.
