  1. i usually run in the evenings b/c ime not much of a morning person.....in mid day is fine if you can handle the heat but i would say since you are starting out try late in the evening right before sun goes down. drink plenty of water throughout the day before hand not right before you run b/c then you could feel bloated and not a good feeling while trying to exercise

  2. try coolrunning.com

    great site

  3. i run everyday. and for a beginner i would say run in the mornings and get it over with. you can run 30-40 min the first week and just take it easy. and then each week add a couple of minutes each week that you run. drink orange juice and gatorade :)

  4. well, my first advice for a beginner is to make sure that you keep yourself on a good diet, alchohol and drugs only hurt you in running especially. set goals for yourself, but dont push yourself TOO much, but the whole point of running is to push yourself to continue, just if you feel TOO tired where your hacking and you feel like your going to die, stop.

    drink LOTS of water

and if your serious about running, dont keep track of your distance as a beginner, take an ipod along running so you dont think about how much it hurts as you run the first few times.

where there is no struggle there is no strength, just run the pain away. trust me , you really can run the pain away when you keep your mind off of it

also, it really depends on what time you like to be out

preferably i like to run in the late afternoon, its not to warm, and not too cold. but if you want to keep yourself going, run around evening time when its chilly.

    i hope i helped!

    have fun!
