What is a good salary?

how much do you think is a good salary to raise 2 kids and still live comfortably? my husband (im a stay at home mom to one son) makes $25/hr and we were thinking about having another one, but we still want to be able to live comfortably.

Here in Ohio that would be plenty for you to live on.  When we were younger my parents made it on my dads salary of 15/hr and there were three of us.  Look at how much you have left over at the end of the month, is there enough to add diapers and all of that fun stuff? If so then go for it.

Honestly it would depened on your monthly budget. Are your children still in diapers/use formula....are they getting ready to start school...any health problems....how much you spend on food a month...how much you spend on things impulsive shopping or just shopping for the heck of it...make a budget and then plan around it.

It really depends on your budget, where you live etc.  If you want to make it work you can.  I changed jobs 2 years ago and make significantly less money than before but I am able to work out of my house and devote more time to my son, it is hard, but we are making it work somehow...and if you wait until you feel that you have enough money to have another kid...you will never have one.  I say go for it.

Well, $25/hr. is $1000/wk. for a 40 hour work week, before taxes. If you live in California, I would say that's not enough, but we have pretty high prices for everything. Other states are much more reasonable.  If I were you, I would sit down, figure out all your expenses and see where you come out. That will give you a better idea on if you can add another bundle of joy and still live comfortably.
