What is a good scientific issue that i could do a podcast on?

i now this is really random, but i am going to create a pod cast of a scientific fact or issue that people need to know about, and i was wondering what a good topic would be? i would like it to be something really important and maybe something original, like global warming is something that everyone will do. Anything will be greatly appreciated!

First of all, you are right in that you shouldn't launch a random podcast with no topic at all. Every kid in America is doing that, and it's boring!

For people to want to listen to your podcast, the topic has to be of interest to YOU. If there's not already a scientific issue that intrigues you, then what does that do for the people who ARE interested in it? They will already care more about it and know more about it than you.

Do you know anyone who DOES have an interest? If so, offer to co-host a podcast with them. You can be the producer and sidekick, and they will bring the knowledge and curiosity.
