  1. i wouldnt know im 12 golf in tournaments and own a nike sasquatch lol

  2. It depends how often you are going to play...

Any set will be fine when starting out golf untill the game grows on you.

The set you brought from ****** sporting may have been faulty, you never know.

Go to a pro shop if you want something that will last and buy either a second hand set or a brand new beginner set from them.

Ask for a warrenty if they break again like that. Golf clubs shouldn't break unless the person using them threw them about and snapped them.

I have only ever seen one golf club ever break from using it in the correct use and that was an old golf club, the head fell off

    Acuity Voltage Set for $149...

getting a cheap first set is a good idea. It all depends on how much you play and how much you want to spend. If you want to spend a lot, you could get a nice set up clubs but if your just starting out golfing, you should get a cheaper set because until you improve, you won't notice the difference in a expensive set of clubs vs an inexpensive set.

  4. They work great beside the front door. Great tool to protect against enemies.

  5. Cavity back irons and a few hybrid clubs along with very forgiving knock-off woods. I would check pawn shops and garage sales. If the sport sticks you can buy more expensive ones and have him fitted for clubs.

  6. Go to your local Golf store and hit hit hit !!!!!!!

I think the best deals and the best bang for your buck is to go used.

For the price you will play for a new Beginner set or signature set, you can have a good used set of a lot higher quality club. There are so many of us in golf that litterally will get a new set of club every 2 yrs or less.....that means for you, you can buy that slightly used set of clubs for a fraction of what they would cost today....Years ago I was in ProGolf Dicount store at the perfect time.  A gentleman had just purchaced a new set of clubs and was "trading" in his Ping eye2's...I started l*****g my chops because those wre the clubs I had wished for but could justify the cost of new....I sort of listened in on the deal and learned he had only gotten a $180 trade-in for them...I really wanted to say WAIT !  and offer him $200 but I thought that may be tacky so I wiated unil he had concluded his business and left the store. Then I grabbed the same sales guy and asked to hit the eye2's....I got them for about $240.....and all new grips....of course I traded them in a year ago and got only $100 credit....So for 2-3 yrs I played eye2's for $140...

Then, if you get hooked by the golf bug and stick to it, you will learn what your game needs as far as clubs go.  What works for Tiger doesn't work for all.....Low end clubs typically will have different swing weight through out  the bag.....Yikkes !  This will hamper the development of a good golf swing......www.golf.com has a great section on clubs and reviews....
