I am moving to England and need to ship some lightweight, non-breakable items.

I've used FedEx successfully to ship luggage rather than carry it on an airplane. It is MUCH easier than trying to get it all through airport security these days.It isn't cheap, but it works well and saves a huge amount of aggravation. UPS also provides the same type of international delivery for what is essentially luggage. Now that some airlines are starting to charge EXTRA for luggage, the extra cost of shipping luggage instead of taking it along on the airplane is not as much in comparison as it used to be.
