  1. corn on the cob with herbed butter

asparagus with garlic, olive oil and lemon

a good caesar salad (dressing:  olive oil, garlic, tabasco sauce, salt, pepper, and lemon)

  2. Crusty Garlic Bread.

    Corn on the Cob.

    Any Pasta Salad.

  3. melted butter!  LOL  What more do you need?!?!

How about a loaded baked potato and nice green salad.  Something simple, so the crab is the star of the meal.

  4. Asparagus, stewed tomatoes, and zucchini cakes: shredded zucchini, a little baking powder, minced onions, salt, a little flour, chill form into a cake and fry in 2 T. olive oil until brown on each side.

  5. Corny cornbread!  It's a bread and a veggie dish all in one!  Just take 2 of those cheap cornbread mixes (Jiffy or Martha White) add a can of whole corn, a can of creamed corn and two eggs.  Mix it all up, throw it into a 9X12 pan and bake.  Delicious!  Goes great with seafood.

  6. You probably want something filling (a carb of some kind) and something with texture (a veggie).

Options might be roasted new potatoes (cut in half, add a bit of oil, garlic, salt, parsley, roast at 325 for 30 min, 425 for 15), salt potatoes, or baked potatoes, plus a salad or fresh corn.

  7. Dirty Rice

    Creamed Spinach

    Corn on the Cob

    Roasted Cajun Potatoes
