  1. the indiana state website might have that info.

    Good luck

  2. It is free

  3. Usually you can get access to a couple of great free sites if you have a library card and pin number from your local library.  You can get access to AncestryPlus and to HeritageQuest.  AncestryPlus is free but must be used at the library and HeritageQuest is free and you can access it from home.  Another thing you can do is to join the Rootsweb mailing list for the county and state you are interested in.  There are usually very helpful individuals that will look things up for you.  However, if you think this is something  you want to pursue I would highly recommend the HeritageQuest option.  Good luck!

  4. http://censuslinks.com/

    http://www.census-online.com/links/

    http://home.att.net/~wee-monster/censusl...

    http://www.cyndislist.com/census.htm

    http://www.censusfinder.com/

http://www.usgenweb.org (go to state then county)

    http://www.familysearch.org (has 1880)

contact your local library. They might have access to Heritage Quest, free online. If you are in Texas, it is called TexShare and you are given a username and password where you can search online from where ever.
