What is a good site to find out what good shrooms look like and where to pick them?

I might do shrooms but if i do i dont want any poisonous ones. help?

This is not something for amateurs.  Either find someone experienced to go with, take a mycology course at the local college or buy your mushrooms at the store.

u can start at erowid to see about types. Where and when they grow depends on type and area of the globe.

once u know the type u are looking for, u can search it's name(s) and thier "location" or "find" <words like that. There are a few pages around.

if u cannot find the mushies in ur area or if u want to be 100% sure about the type, u can grow them. yes u could ID them if u knew how but it takes special equipment/microscope and learning about spore characteristics to be 100% sure. u can do home spore test (like look for purple spores and other things) and it seems to mostly work but it would not be 100% because not all purple spore mushies are good.

to grow, try the shroomery for cultivation info. if u do not have a place at home u want to grow, then u can germinate spores and transplant to a hillside<<not near pastureland or playgrounds or golfcourses (animals, kids, pesticides).

also, u do not have to grow it all the way out to mushroom form, u can just grow the mycellium in a soup and consume as-is.
