  1. 4x2x2 is fine for all but the largest female.

  2. 6 foot by 2foot by 2 foot minimum altho bigger is better. full grown adult snake vivariums need to be at least the length of the snake

  3. Well, it depends on how old it is, and if its a male or female. It might still grow more, a lot more. If its a fairly young female, I suggest a tank size of  a minimum of 75 gallons, as she may grow between 10-12 feet long. If it is a young male, a 50 gallon should be good as males grow up 6 - 9' in length.

  4. The "rule" I've heard by many herpetologists is 1 foot of ground space per foot of snake. So a 6' snake needs at least a 3' wide by 2' deep. I have a 4' RTB and I keep him in a 3' wide by about 20"-22" deep. These snakes are really cool snakes to own, but they also require a lot of care. Here is a good care sheet to read for more information - http://repticzone.com/caresheets/823.htm... Mine is by far the most messy snake I've ever owned. I hope this helps you.

  5. I agree with Jason H's answer. 4 x 2 except for big females, which can use 6 x 2 or even better, 6 x 3. Floorspace is more important than height.

  6. A 40 gallon tank should be ok. Good Luck!
