  1. If you play attack or middie get a 30 inch shaft. For goalie either 40 inches or 30 inches (it depends on your prefference) . And for defence 60 inches.

  2. 4 feet six inches 5086 marine grade alluminum tubing with non re-bar tri buckle technology. I suggest attaching a flywheel non slip positrac grip onto the handle. this helps with the self balancing gyroscopic action of the piece. When I played crouquet against the native americans I used british sterling. Those days are long gone though. Well, goodluck!

  3. try  harrow hemi-cuda . 42 inches overall . very good acuracy . great quick release . very good price . if you have a head already , at your age , just try heavier shaft . the head is still the engine , changes often do not work out .

  4. It depends if you are a girl, or guy.

I'm a girl, and i just buy a standard shaft, and put any head onto it. I'm about the same height as you, and I'm a sophmore also so i'd guess we'd be the same.

If you are a guy, then any standard shaft should work, if you are attack or middie. If you are defense, and want a long shaft, then just get a standard D-shaft.

    There aren't really any sizes.

    Good luck!

Ahaha...i just read this and you are obviously a guy. LOL
