What is a good/smart way to save money every month?

I dont know what your saving it for but.....just everytime you get your pay check take 5-10 dollars out of that &&&&& KNOW that you have to put that in a savings account. It all adds up really quick, well if you dont spend it =)

Find out what you can afford per month and treat it like a bill.  Either have it withdrawn automatically and deposited into an account, or write out a check as if it was another bill due and pay it into a savings account.  You'll also need to never rely on that money, you paid the 'bill' and it's gone.

Absolutely best thing ive ever done is work out a realistic amount you can spare, open a another bank account and have weekly automatic deductions from your account into it.

Also dont have a easy way to access the money in your savings account ie: no key card or cheque book to avoid temptations and it will grow quicker than you would imagine.

After a couple of weeks the routine will set in and you wont even miss the money, its a great easy no worries way to save some $$.

***Car Pool

***Shop different cell phone providers for better rates...then go back to your current cell phone provider and threaten to leave...and they will price match.

***Eat at home in vs. going out to eat...healthier and saves money
