  3. Personally, I think that smoothies are best with nothing but frozen fruit and juice, but if you like a little bit of a creamy texture throw in some non-fat yogurt (this is also the perfect place to mask the chalky texture of protein powder if you feel the need)

    My absolute favorite smoothie:

Strawberry, Peach, and Pineapple and Lemonade (add a little bit of raspberries or use orange juice instead of lemonade if it is too tart)

Pineapple, Banana, Blueberry and Cranberry Juice (or try with a  little coconut milk but, be careful! It is fattening!)

    Mixed Berries and Mango

You know, pretty much any fruit.  I would eat any of them.  How helpful is that for others?

  4. my fav. is

    1 banana

    1/2 cup strawberries

1/4 c. fav. fruit juice or low fat yogurt

    1/2 cup ice

blend all together and nice nutritional, naturally sweet treat. sometimes I add a few brocolli florets to get my veggies in for the day you barely even taste the brocolli.

  5. A real simple on is this...

    1 frozen peeled banana (overnight)

    1 1/2 cup of milk

    1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Blend it all up in a blender of coarse and then sprinkle some ground Cinnamon on top. It will be very yummy and simple. Good breakfast smoothie!

  6. Fruit smoothies are delicious!

Freeze bananas over night and out them in your smoothies- it will make them so creamy and like a milkshake.

Actually, if you freeze most fruits it will give them a thick texture and make the smoothie feel more indulgent.

    My favorite combos are

banana pineapple strawberry fresh orange juice

    berry banana purple grape juice

peach banana strawberry pineapple orange juice

    mango papaya banana pineapple

You really can't go wrong with fruit. If you like a more milky smoothie, add some nonfat regular or frozen yogurt.
