Question:

What is a good snack idea for kids?

My daughter's 2nd grade teacher has asked to bring snacks whenever we can throughout the year for the whole class to share. No particular turn, just when it's in someone’s budget they can send it with their child. Just want some ideas on what snack(s) would score well with most of the students.

Thank you

  1. jammy doges there really nice or crisps

  2. goldfish, oreos, oreo, cakesters

  3. Those individual bags of chips, cookies, bananas, pretzels, candy.

  4. Well definitely nothing with nuts...kids and allergies...how about a fruit or veggie platter? or cookies of some sort. Or a fun treat, cupcakes....have fun with it. Ask your daughter what sort of snacks the other kids brought.

  5. Rainbow colored goldfish or the pretzel goldfish. my kids love them. or those nilla cookies

  6. Hello, I am a 2nd grade teacher and I too recently asked my parents to send in some snacks, as our lunch is at 10:25 am this year and my students are ready for food again around 1:00 pm. I fully suggest simple, non sugary snacks [unless of course its for a special occasion], because usually it needs to be quick so teaching can resume. My best advice is for you to ask your child's teacher, because we all have certain rules and preferences!

The snacks I put on my list were:

    pretzels [rods and regular]

    goldfish

    crackers

    cheezits

    animal crackers

    Good Luck!!

  7. popcorn, less fat/salt chips

    and low sugar chocolate

  8. Kids love anything that's been commericially advertised with cool music and shiney 3D animation in the background, but those snacks are always too expensive (especially in bulk!)

You're going to want to get something like pretzels which are always affordable and taste great. Also, Cheez-Its are great and they seem to be addictive, even to me, haha.

Try not to get anything like candy, it will result in ultra-hyper 2nd graders bouncing off the walls begging for more (not good). If you want to bring something "sweeter" than something like pretzels or Cheez-Its then get some kind of trailmix. Try to get something with out peanuts incase of a child's allergies (and they don't want to miss out on the awesome snack).

Of course there are always alternatives, but those examples are automatic winners and the parents will be looking up to you, "The Parent Who Brought The Good Snacks!"

    Best of luck!

  9. Make some peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and cut them into quarters, graham crackers, muffins, raisins, rice cakes, or carrots. Or go to google and type in something like "good snacks for kids".

  10. MIne Bring Cheez ITS or goldfish!

its a felling snack.... for sure.

    Grapes healthy and Yummy!

  11. cheese its or graham crackers animal crackers,

  12. home made granola bars!!

  13. Fruits and veggies score big with the adults, but not usually with the kids!  LOL

I make snack salad (think trail mix type thing) with various crackers (goldfish), pretzels, cereals (not honey nut - allergy risk), dried fruits or raisins (yogurt raisins are a big hit), perhaps a few chocolate chips or mini marshmallows, and mix it all together in a tupperware with a lid and send with my kids.

They report that it was always well received.

  14. Rice Krispie Squares, granola bars, cookies, or muffins.

  15. Candied or caramel apples are good cut up for kids, its fruit and they're also sweet. Chex mix is good because theres a variety of snacks, you could pour it in a small bowl for each kid. A veggie platter with ranch dip is very versatile too. Cheese and crackers are simple too. These don't cost that much so you could buy a lot!

  16. cheez its or go gurts

  17. Chewy Chips Ahoy!!!!!!!!

  18. Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches

    Trail Mix (nuts,pretzels,goldfish,chocolate chips)

Cereal(diffrent kinds mix then put in huge plastic bag
