  1. Walmart and Target have beginner boards for 20$ Can't beat that!!! They are plastic  though. But my son loves it.

  2. Please don't get one of those cheap plastic boards unless your cousin only wants to play around in the local park or back yard.  For a young beginner, just about any board found in a proper snowboard shop will be fine.  There are some used/consignment shops around tat offer great deals.  My daughter's first board and bindings cost $85.  They were fine for her first season.  I'll be able to sell it for about the same price next winter.  As for size, look for something that goes from the floor to his chin or up to his lips.

  3. Jumanji brand

  4. He should try using a Burton. Some are cheap and it is the top performance for a child around 9-13.

  5. Well, i'm getting a board for my 12 year old bro, and im getting him a Burton Blunt snowboard.

150$, with bindings, good for his height, easy to learn on. Great board.

  6. My little sister is 11 and she has a Burton Chicklet. She loves it.

  7. genovia is the best brand you can get

  8. WWJD, works everytime.

  9. A pair of skis!!!! If you start out on skis learning is much easier and then switching after a year isn't a problem and then you already know all the basics.
