  1. Knowing what culture you are from as well as one word to desrcribe you would really make it easier for us to answer you.

  2. I walked down to Cannon in D – Pachelbel, we had a Roman Catholic wedding, and are only allowed secular music.  I wanted to walk to Here Comes the Bride, but after I heard it at my friends wedding, (really generic sounding) (to ME) no offense to anyone.  I was so glad I walked to it. I had never heard of that before, but everytime I hear it now it takes me back to our wedding day. GOOD LUCK.

  3. Other than the "Here Comes the Bride," another popular song is Pachebel in D minor (or major). You can hear it by going to YouTube.  My friend walked down to "Only Time" by Enya.

  4. First if you are having a church ceremony you need to make an appointment with your musicians.  They will have suggestions for you, and you need to make sure you choose something they are familiar with.  Also depending on the church, there may be some restrictions on what type of song you can choose.

    Some popular choices are:

    Cannon in D – Pachelbel

    Hymne – Vangelis

Air (from water music) – Handel

Bridal Chorus – Richard Wagner (here comes the bride)

Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring – JS Bach

    Morning Has Broken – traditional

    Joy – George Winston

Music Box Dancer – Frank Mills

Quaker Hymne (simple gifts) – traditional

    Moonlight Sonata – Beethoven

Come, Come Ye Saints - traditional

    Good luck!
