  1. I'm not quite sure what a second soprano's vocal range is, but for auditions, Disney songs and music from other musicals (like Wicked) are usually popular audition pieces.  Just choose a song that's in your vocal range, that can really show off your talents, and that's similar to the songs you'll be singing in HSM.

    Break a leg!

  2. I'd suggest "The Wind Beneath My Wings". It's been performed by many, but I like the two versions by Gary Morris and Bette Midler.

    Wind Beneath My Wings

    Written by: Larry Henley/Jeff Silbar

It must have been cold there in my shadow,

to never have sunlight on your face

You've been content to let me shine

You always walked a step behind.

I was the one with all the glory,

While you were the one with all the strength

Only a face without a name

I never once heard you complain.

    Chorus:

Did you ever know that you're my hero,

and everything I'd like to be?

I can fly higher than an eagle,

Cause you are the wind beneath my wings.

It might have appeared to go unnoticed,

But I've got it all here in my heart

I want you to know I know the truth

I would be nothing without you.

    (Chorus)

    See the vid below.

  3. I would pick something like on my own from les miserables because its not to high or too low.....its right in the middle and is a beautiful piece of music.
