What is a good sprinkler system rain sensor?

Does anyone have any suggestion for brands? Wired vs wireless? etc..

Rain Bird is what I have had before and was thoroughly satisfied with it.  Replacement parts are readily available and the system was very dependable.  I had the "wired" version.

i recommend not having one at all .reason being is that a brief shower in the night will shut your system off for a week ,and a brief shower once a week is not sufficient water for your lawn. i cant tell you how many times i have had to charge a customer a trip charge , just to tell them that there rain sensor is activated. TURN THE TIMER OFF WHEN YOU SEE YOUR LAWN IS TOO WET.
