  1. Your budget is the problem, but if you look around you should be able to find a foreign made 20 bore within your budget. Dont be put off by the other comments, a 20 bore is a cracking calibre the equal of any.

  2. I would recommend the Mossberg line. They offer various pumps and semis and a very reasonable price. Plus, you can find them just about everywhere.

  3. Remington 870. You'll have it for the rest of your life with no problems. I've had an 870 20 ga for 13 years now.

  4. can't go wrong with a lanber sporter.

  5. Remington 870

FIELD & STREAM magazine: "The Model 870 is the greatest success story in the history of U.S. Shotguns because of one simple quality: It just won't quit."

  6. get a 12g, got more punch and kills more cleanly if you aint that good of a shot

    AYA?

    Lanber?

or you may want to save up and get a Berretta and never need to buy again!!

  7. If you want a pump, check out Remington's line up.  They have at least one model that will fit your price range.  If you are looking for a double barrel breech action, be sure to look at Stoger's Outback series.  Also, in my neighborhood gun store at least, there are tons of used shotguns out there that I would check out before sinking cash into a bore you might want to change in the future (I started with a 20 and quickly moved to a 12).
