What is a good starting wage ?

to babysit a 1 yr old girl in their home, mother is a first time mom and has no idea what to pay me and i have no idea what to ask for.i have tons of experience with children.

$2000 per evening; double if the baby cries.

($20 for an evening may be more realistic; $30 if the parents return after midnight.)

Answer 2

All day? 15 dollars a day

Per hour? $8 an hour

Thats pretty reasonable, I think. Thats what I'd agree to paying.
