I don't know if I should get a Nike Bauer Supreme One 90, Some Easton stick (Stealth or Synergy or something), or a Warrior.

  1. Nike Bauer Supreme One 90

  2. any easton stick should work because it tends to be longer which is good for defense

  3. Almost certainly not something that expensive. At that age nice sticks are a really bad idea- they'll outgrow them or they won't like the blade curve...

Get the Easton Stealth Shaft and blade. It'll save you a lot of money and the performance is better then okay for that age- they won't be able to tell the difference between that and a nicer stick. And if the shaft or blade breaks in a two piece, you can replace it at much less then the cost of a one piece stick.

  4. the brand of stick doesn't matter too much. for a defenseman you'd probably want a stick with a 1/2" or 3/4" blade (easier to lift the puck off the boards and out of the zone).

Choosing a stick isn't an exact science... there is a lot of trial and error involved. My only advice is... don't spend a small fortune on a stick that he won't like.

  5. get a wood stick. or if u like composite better then use the one with the least flex
