  1. I have tried many stock simulations in the last few years, but the software ThinkOrSwim (TOS) offers is over 50 times better than any others.

    Their designs are sleek. The platform is easy to understand and maneuver around. TOS tools are absolutely top-notch. It's completely free. They even have live CNBC for free on the side panels!

    If you're at home, you can just download the software and install the program. If you prefer to just use a web browser to trade with your account, TOS has that too.

    One of the things I like best is that allow me to adjust how much money the account starts with. This is great because most stock market simulations give you $100,000 which is completely unrealistic because most likely, you're going to start with a small amount of the money when you trade for real.

  2. You can create your own mutual fund for free on marketocracy.com. This may be a good place to practice your trading skills and you can see how well you are doing relative to indices and others.
