What is a good string/vibration dampener for tennis rackets?

i just bought a new prince racket, and although it included a dampener its not the greatest.

what is a good one?

i had a head one before but it was really old, it worked AMAZING though, but whats a good one, prince?, head?

?

im looking for one on tennis warehouse!

  1. You could tie a small rubber band around two of the strings. Bigger  and longer dampners like &quot;worms&quot; (as they are called) are the best dampners. There is always going to a local pro shop and looking at dampners there. I&#039;ve never come across a bad dampner before though... Good luck!


  2. A rubber band. Simple as that.

    Wrap around the 2 inner  strings at the throat, keep it tight, then the 2 outer strings next to them. Keep the tension, then tie off in a butterfly knot.
