I want to make a duck cassoulet, but my daughter doesn't eat beans. Any suggestions for a substitute?

  1. I think without beans, it really can't be called a cassoulet.  You could try just making sort of a duck stew, I suppose...is there any chance you could just use fewer beans and she could eat around them?

The only thing I can think of that might be able to mimic the texture would be potatoes.
