  1. Crunch up the equivalent amount of Corn Flakes - tastes really great and it's perfect for when you just got home after a long day and have everything for the darn recipe but bread crumbs!

  3. You could crush Chex cereal. Or Ritz Crackers. I'd go with the Chex, though. =)

  5. Panko - Japanese Breadcrumbs are really good. They fry up light and crisp. You can find them with the other asian foods.

  6. OOOHHH MAN...........I love using crushed Cheez-It crackers, or Cheez Nips, or Ritz cracker crumbs.  Those crackers have so much butter in them, they make a yummy coating for chicken...just try it and see for yourself.

  7. Crushed corn flakes, rice or corn chex. Also very good is crushed stuffing mix, like chicken stove stop stuffing mix. How about ritz cheese crackers? Also finely crushed almonds, or walnuts, or cashews are very good. Let your imagination go wild, check out your cupboard/stock, and see what all you have that you can crush, and use in place of good old bread crumbs.

  8. You can use cornflakes, crackers, croutons, or corn chips.  If you are looking to get more fiber in your meals try Fiber One cereal and crush them until they are fine like bread crumb texture.

  9. A mixture of oats and flour.  Brush a little beaten egg onto the chicken to make the oat mixture stick.
