What is a good substitute for cream?

My husband is now allergic to Lactose, soy,corn, and gluten. I looked at the non dairy creamers but the main ingriedient is high fructose corn syrup.

  1. Maybe almond milk, rice milk, cashew milk, walnut milk, peanut milk, hemp milk, or hazelnut milk.

    (If you google cashew milk and walnut milk recipes will come up. And if you google peanut milk there is a website where you can order it from)


  2. That's going to be a problem, as many vegan creamers are made from soy.  And as you've seen, the so-called non-dairy creamers (which have a bit of casein in them, so they aren't vegan) are a scary blend of chemicals.

    He could try putting rice milk or nut milk in his coffee, but it won't have the same taste and texture as creams.
