What is a good substitute for lighter fluid in a zippo?

i know lighter fluid is safest and best for your health and your lighter and blah blah blah but im not old enough to buy lighter fluid and my parents dont know i have the zippo and all i have is butane so what can i use instead of lighter fluid?

The only thing that works in a Zippo IS lighter fluid. If you aren't old enought o buy it, you must wait til you are old enough. Hopefully by then you will be smart enough to NOT put any fluid in the thing and just keep it on display.

Back in the war, we could never find proper fluid so my buddies and me would put regular gasoline in our Zippos. It wasn't very safe but it did work. Start with a small amount and keep well away from face, the flame is bigger than when you use normal fluid.
