  1. I personally love "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" books. The movie was horrible in comparison to the books.

"Jane Eyre" by Charlotte Bronte is an amazing story and lastly "Lucky" and "The Lovely Bones" but Alice Sebold are good reads as well.

  2. sandman comic book series by DC.

not marvels series about a guy made of sand.

sandman.... main characters. destiny, dream, death, despair, desire, destruction, delerium ( formerly delight )

largest female reading audience of all comicbook series ever and the only graphic novel to win a european literature award.

  3. the series by janet evanovich starting w/ "One for the Money"

  4. Running in Heels, or  Getting Over It by Anna Maxted. They are both really good!

  5. Once Upon Stilettos It is a whole series of fun books

    Anna del C.

Author of "The Elf and the Princess"

and "Trouble in the Elf City"

  6. gossip girl !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    by celicly von zeegesar,

it was soo good that they made a tv series out of it,

of course theres the twilight series!!!!!

but thats more of a romantic novel,

sure its about a girl who falls in love with a vampire, but hes PERFECT

    WOOO

there making a movie of it,of course the movie seems like its going to be alot more dark, BUT ITS SO CUTE

    GOOD LUCCCCKKK

  7. definitely check out twilight series by stephanie meyer. especially if you want chick lit. whole series is out.

you won't want to put it down.

  8. Hey Pink Ribbon, I know what you need for a good read. How about a book called "The Love of Money"

"The Love of Money" is a new book about a young man, who as a young child, has a traumatic experience being held hostage by a theif. Later in life he finds the money stolen by the theif and decides to keep it. He travels the world in attempts to launder the money, but finds trouble everywhere he goes. Its a story of international money laundering, war torn countries, paranoia, betrayal, revenge, true love, heartbreak and destiny.

You can read more about it at http://www.findzach.com

The book is not actually in bookstores yet, and is really only available on amazon.com and also on www.findzach.com  Only the first editions are being sold for that book. (A limited supply)  After they sell out, the bookstores will start to carry it.

  9. The Shopaholic series.  I forget who writes it, but it is absolutely hilarious!

The first one is Confessions of a Shopaholic.

And then there's Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, but I think they're a bit overrated.

I enjoy Sarah Dessen, but if you're looking for a happy read, don't read Dreamland.  That one's really sad.  I recommend The Truth About Forever or This Lullaby; those are my favorites.

That's all I can think of right now; I really don't read too many light, happy chick-lits; I'm more of a fantasy/sci-fi person. =)

    Hope I helped!
