What is a good symbol for for a Holes character?

We have to draw/make a symbol that represents one of the characters form holes we havent finished the book so i cant do anything that happens at the end.It can be the warden, Mr.Pendancekey,Mr.Sir,Stanley(caveman),H... Barlow,or Elya(his greatgreatgreat grandfather)

and there has to be a reason for choosing that symbol.

You should Choose Stanley, and draw a shovel and a shoe crossing like in a X

It would represent his struggles and how he overcame them and improved his life

I cant remember what zero's actual name was...it has been a long while since i read that book.  I LOVED IT THOUGH...Zero was my fav..  are one of htose characters his actual names?  If so, I would totally do his...but i dont think he is one...so

The warden would prob be the next easiest.

You could do some symbol of how rude and mean and prison like the waden is.  total biznatch...

Draw a "Broken" heart

Reason: His love married someone else and he left the country becuase of this. Then th ecurse took over.

How about, oh, I don't know, a hole?

Can represent the hole in their life that brought them their, the hole in their soul that makes them drive the kids to do the work they do, etc.
