What is a good temperature for birds?

can a cockatiel live in an environment thats around 30 degrees Celcius?... can a cockatiel live in south america where its that hot?

30 C is 86 degrees Fahrenheit

  1. Nearly all parrots originate from warm areas, hence they're much more capable of tolerating heat than cold. Any temperature above 25 degrees celsius is good for a parrot, but (of course) any extremes are bad. I'd call PROLONGED EXPOSURE to 40+ Celsius temperatures "extreme" for cockatiels.
