  1. I assume that you are looking for something more at the beginner level.  And for that, all that matters is that you buy a racquet.

When you are just starting off, you can't appreciate the difference between racquets.  Save the involved decision process for when you've got more experience.

But if you want to be a little more choosy now, beginners will usually get a lightweight racquet with a large head.  While this is fine, it's probably better to go with something more in the tweener range (10-11oz).  These slightly heavier racquets force you to learn how to put your own power on your shots, rather than the racquet doing it for you.

And you don't need to be spending tons of money here.  If you want to go the lightweight beginners route, just get something at wal-mart.  If you want to go for more of a tweener racquet, go to a sporting goods store and buy a pre-strung racquet.  Also, you can look through the racquets on this page for something you like:

These are probably best quality racquets for the lowest prices you'll be able to find.

  2. i would suggest wilson or dunlop or head or yonex but donot buy a prince racket because it isn't good at all

  3. I suggest you use the racquet of Elena Dementieva or David Nalbandian, Yonex brand. which is not so expensive and its good in anyone's hand. you will feel comfortable with it. Or you can use the racquet of Maria Sharapova prince O3 white. though it is very expensive because Sharapova is the model.

  4. I would suggest Williams.

Different racquets suit different playing styles and levels of ability. For example a "hitter's" racquet is heavier with a smaller head size and and a far more presice balance to it. However, this style of racquet is not suitable for a beginner.

You need to find a tennis racquet that suits your ability and style. Reading reviews, forums and articles about this topic will aid you in making a much more informed choice.

  6. I would suggest Prince. Dunlop or Yonex. Whatever the racket you feel the most comfortable with.

Remember not to buy a certain racket just becasue its says a famous tennis player uses that brand.

It may work for them, but maybe not for you !!

    Good Luck!

  7. Try one from the new head line MICROGEL they are great.

  8. The largest brands are Head, Wilson, Babolat, Prince, and Dunlop.  A tennis racquet is really a matter of preference.  Demo a few at a pro shop (should be free).  If you cant demo them, at least read some reviews on line.

Here are a few of my favorites...

    Head: microgel radical, microgel prestige

    Wilson: Ksix-one, Kblade 98

Babolat: Pure drive, Aeropro drive, Pure storm (the tour too)

Prince: o3 speedport black/tour, oZone tour

    www.tennis-warehouse.com

has all the above racquets along with reviews and customer feedback.  They sell at fair prices too.

  9. every racket is good one. Manufactured to perfectiion... i suggest to try every racket, if this fits to you and ur comfortable with it then go buy it. and i also suggest to read the specs. this is the part that answer all ur questions like how heavy the racket is, its dimension and the like..

  10. If you are just starting out, try a racket with a bigger and thicker head size. It will give you a lot of control. But this is the kind of racket that old ladies play with, because it does most of the work for them :) Once you get better, you may need to switch to a "player" racket. I personally recommend Wilson or Dunlop, but Prince is pretty good as well. Babolat is also very good, if you can get it for a manageable price. Head isn't really known for tennis rackets (more for squash, I think), but their rackets are generally ok for people who need to generate power. You can get a very good racket for under $200.

As with anything else, read the reviews online to see if a particular racket suits you.

    Hope this helps :)
